Important warning about Fish Oil.

It is a mistake to shop for the cheapest one. REASON WHY?

FISH oil comes in two forms: "ethyl-ester" and "triglyceride". The ethyl-ester form is cheaper to manufacture but it also is HARDER to digest and very prone to rancidity.

Therefore,

you absorb a smaller amount of vital EPA and DHA fatty acids, plus the rancidity increase inflammation(cheap fish oil is non-distilled and mix with waste that comes from the fish oil itself)

In contrast,

the triglyceride form is 1.7 times more absorbable, plus it is a natural form that is more stable and less likely to turn rancid. It is also less likely to cause you to BURP a fishy odor.

The 2nd BIG issue with fish oil is purity.

Fish oil may contain heavy metals or environmental chemicals. So it is wise to purchase from a supplier who can verify that their product is PURE.

So here's your buying guideline:

** Label should say "Triglyceride form". If the label does not say that, do not buy it.

** Can the manufacturer verify that the product is pharmaceutical grade and free of contaminants? If not, look for another product.

So...good to choose Omega Guard from Shaklee.

Intake of fish oil....time of consumption.

Should be taken with meal, meaning that you take 1 capsule first and then you eat your breakfast or lunch.

It help to trigger the insulin sensitivity...(important for food digestion) NOT to be eaten just after your breakfast or lunch. It will reduce the effectiveness of the Omega.

Remember not to be taken at night just before you go to sleep, where body having the least water during this time and blood viscosity. Body temperature will also increase.

That is why, you are advice to drink minimum of 3 liter of water in a day...
